IMPORTANT - NOTE THESE BOTS SESSION & EVENTS ARE NOT DEBATES

Here are the key differences between discussion and debate:

  • Purpose: Discussions aim for collective understanding and sharing of ideas, while debates focus on winning an argument.

  • Structure: Discussions are generally informal and open-ended, where as debates are structured and involve two opposing sides.

  • Participants 'Approach: In discussions, participants are encouraged to be open and collaborative, while in debates, participants are more focused on persuasion and competition.

  • Outcome: The goal of a discussion is to reach a consensus or shared understanding, while the goal of a debate is to convince the audience or judges of a particular viewpoint.

  • Turn-Taking: In discussions, participants can speak freely without strict turn-taking, whereas debates require proper turn-taking among debaters.

  • These distinctions highlight the different contexts and objectives of discussions and debates.

We meet on free spaces for mutual level playing field discussion without having to pay out for corporate-owned spaces that dominate and structure, stifle the subject matters.

MEET BOTSY

BOTSY is Black British, young adult and loves life, "life is good" is a daily favourite phrase embraced to the full, this act to reaffirmation is an expression of gratefulness, appreciation and happiness for all he has in his life.

"Life is for living and living to the fullest!" - BOTSY

BOTSY enjoys the "forever young" experiences and as a character depiction of a youthful Black British he never gets old.

He has personality, motivations, ambition, aims, objectives and goals, He is fun, can be loud at times yet has emotional depth to engage others, whoever the others he encounters along the way.

BOTSY embraces and enjoys the British eclectic multi-cultural diversity and creativity derived from the many and various ethnic, racial, and native groups found the UK

He'll be exploring the expression of what is "British Values" as a Black person born in multicultural Britain "What is it to be British" today "What is Britishness" in modern times. "What is the future of Britain"...And more besides.

BOSTSY invites you to support his character that aims to bring joy to people, in places, spaces and squares. Botsy is about inclusion as well as individuality, self-definition and personal expression within the boundaries (of course), ok maybe on occasion Botsy pushes the boundaries to the limit of artistic expression, but that's what youth and growth is all about. You only live once, worlds kids have one opportunity and chance of childhood, the freedom to take risks that is often stifled in adulthood because of social 'norms', which brings accountability and responsibility that dumbs down the fun.

Fear not the passage of time, for BOTSY remains forever young, embodying a spirit of daring and light rule-breaking that never fades.

YOU can support my growth simply by showing out and buying my tees and merch.

Take time to let your hair down for all sorts on the square, and smile when you see my image out, about greet the wearer when worn.

Let's go... let's have some fun, oh and bring the kids, always an excuse for adults to act another age! ;-)
